Mum came to visit today.
The ringer on may telephone wasn't ringing very loud, so we don't always answer the phone when she rang, and my mobile doesn't work in the house- and why should it? So, as it is my Birthday soon, she has bought me a new telephone. It was on my "to do" list and no longer needs to be done....maybe I shall use the money I would have spent on the phone and buy the Buddha statue I've set my heart on as a present to me on my birthday.
We had a brief chat about tarot cards, though I don't use them myself. She used to be very afraid of them but, as things seem to be changing, she is far more "open" now. With me as a daughter, how could she be otherwise? Her husband, a trained scientist, owned up to wanting to learn to use runes. The conversation moved on to the various ways the universe has of communicating with us, either psychically, or through more subtle signs which tend to get less subtle if we try not to listen.
I have a sudden vision of Basil Fawlty wearing Angel wings trying to patiently make himself heard!
A well-known "Angel Communicator" is Doreen Virtue. she describes how she saw Angels all her life but kept quiet about it, afraid of how other people might react. When an Angel intervened in an attempted car-jacking and quite possibly saved her life she realised she had no option but to speak clearly and openly on their behalf. Since then, she has become a leading figure in the holistic movement. She now lives an abundant life, on every level. Could this be because she is now working with God/dess?
We all have our "God given gifts." Maybe those who have the most abundant lives are those that are using the gifts that they were intended to? Who are the success stories of our age? Many of them are using their talents, yes, but in such a way as to enhance people's lives. Musicians and entertainers, sportsmen...they are following their dreams and inspiring others.
Those who follow their dreams and loves are more likely to live abundantly, I feel.
So, I ask you all to look out for the Angels, look for the signs that will help you discover your God given gift, and use it. It's a feeling like no other, to be walking hand-in-hand with the Angels, I am sure you will agree!
